For Jesper, photography has always meant the promise of adventure, and the Camera, a conduit into the unfamiliar – a tool to unlock ways to relate and understand others.
He has spent over a decade working on nearly every continent, with world-class brands, publications, and award-winning creative agencies.
Whether he is in the depths of Death Valley shooting a beauty campaign or wading through the mangroves, documenting the Pu Dam Crab fishing community, he keeps the same intentions at heart. Above all, he strives to communicate an authentic experience and peer into the nature of what it means to be human. He has never lost his enthusiasm for life and approaches each day with awe and wonder.
“I’m never just the passive observer. I’m insatiably curious and thrive in the spontaneity of unfurling moments.”
When he’s not behind the lens, he’s trying to make the perfect kimchi, playing in waves or mountains, or out exploring his newly adopted country (Australia) with his tribe.
